Fola Fagbule (Head, Investment Research)

Fola joined Afrinvest in September 2006 in the Investment Banking Division of the firm. Here, he was involved in a number of landmark capital raising and financial advisory transactions. He moved to the Afrinvest Research team in September 2007, to work as a sell-side Analyst covering the Nigerian Banking and Infrastructure sectors, as well as providing overall team leadership. Prior to Afrinvest, Fola had worked for Shell Nigeria’s pension fund as an Analyst, developing a Management Information System for the fund (which was actively investing in equities, fixed income and real estate). Fola is a graduate of the University of Lagos, where he finished with a Second Class Upper degree in Applied Physics. He has also received an MBA degree from the Lagos Business School
