Afrinvest Launches Equity Fund

 

Boye Olawoye (Head, International Institutional Sales)

Boye had over 7 years experience in corporate finance, prior to joining the Afrinvest Securities Trading Division as head of international institutional sales. He previously worked with UBS Investment Bank, New York within the Mergers and Acquisition Group. While at UBS, Boye worked on transactions mostly in the telecommunications and healthcare sector. Prior to UBS, Boye worked with Merrill Lynch in their Debt Capital Markets Unit.  He also previously worked at Cresta Bank New York as an Investment Analyst. He attended Howard University, USA where he obtained a BBA in Finance.

 

Yemi Sadiku (Head, Domestic Institutional Sales)

Yemi Sadiku started his financial services industry career with Lagoon Home Savings and Loans, where he worked in various departments including leading the Information Technology department. He also worked in asset management with ESL Securities and headed the securities trading unit of Citi Investment Capital Limited before taking up his current position as Head of Domestic Institutional Sales at Afrinvest. He previously worked with Abbey National Bank and HSBC, both in the UK. Yemi obtained a postgraduate diploma in Business Administration in 1994 and an MBA in 2002 from the Universities of Edinburgh and Sheffield respectively.

 

Lilian Olubi (Head, Private Clients Sales)

Lilian has over 10 years of capital markets experience. She commenced her securities trading career in 1998 at CSL Stockbrokers, a subsidiary of the First City Group where she worked in various capacities spanning operations, investment management and research before joining the sales and marketing team at Afrinvest. Lilian currently oversees the day to day running of Afrinvest’s Private Client Services activities and the coordination of its various marketing initiatives. She is a Chartered Stockbroker and authorized dealing clerk of the Nigerian Stock Exchange. Lilian obtained a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Benin in 1997
